About Our Youth Director
Sharrona Watson is a remarkable individual whose life story is a testament to the redemptive power of God. Her compassion for young people and dedication to ensuring that they grow up encountering the Lord and stay steady in their walk is truly inspiring. Sharrona’s work with young people spans decades, and she has worn many hats in her efforts to guide and nurture them.
One of Sharrona’s most notable contributions to the youth community is her establishment of Youth on Fire, the Youth ministry of MorningStar Ministries, that seeks to rekindle the burning flame of God within young people. Through this ministry, Sharonna has been able to touch the lives of countless young people, many of whom have experienced conversions, re-dedication, healing, and deliverance.
In addition to her work with Youth on Fire, Sharrona has also been involved in a variety of other youth-oriented initiatives. She has served as an international students connect group leader and has produced the annual drama event for CSCL for years. She is also an accomplished creative and content creator, and founder of “out-of-the-box” camp and after school program, her content usually resonates with young people.
Sharrona’s impact on the youth community is undeniable, and her contributions have not gone unnoticed. The first annual Youth on Fire conference, which she organized, had hundreds of young people from across the states, denomination, and racial divide in attendance. Her dedication to the youth community has earned her the reputation of being the “aunty you want in your corner”, loving yet firm and willing to speak the truth in love.
Sharrona’s approach to youth ministry is characterized by her gift of nurture, playfulness, and plain honesty. She is not afraid to speak the truth in love and help young people walk in righteousness and purity. Her ability to connect with young people on a deep level and provide them with the guidance and support they need to navigate the challenges of adolescence is truly remarkable.
Sharrona is not just a minister of the gospel, but also a devoted mother of three lovely children and friend of young people. Her commitment to her family and her community is unwavering, and her generosity of spirit is reflected in the way she gives the best hugs. She is married to the love of her life, Randy Watson, and together they serve as Elders in MorningStar Ministries.
Sharrona Watson is a truly remarkable individual whose compassion, dedication, and commitment to the youth community have made a significant impact on the lives of countless young people. Her work with young people is a shining example of what can be accomplished when one is guided by faith, love, and a deep sense of purpose in seeing the Kingdom of GOD established on earth as in Heaven!
